We’re looking for someone motivated with outstanding communication and customer service skills to be our next hotel shift manager. Working alongside other hotel staff, you’ll be in charge of overseeing hotel operations during your shifts, which includes scheduling staff and distributing assignments to hotel employees. As the hotel shift manager, you’ll also be responsible for greeting and serving customers, dealing with client complaints, and compliance with all safety rules. Hotel Shift Manager responsibilities
  • Oversee, train, and schedule hotel staff in shifts to ensure compliance and boost productivity levels
  • Assign tasks to employees and ensure they are completed effectively and properly
  • Manage, direct, and ensure high guest satisfaction in the delivery of all services
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Keep track of inventory and make sure every area is fully stocked by ordering supplies and coordinating product deliveries
  • Set performance goals and encourage team members to achieve these goals
Hotel Shift Manager qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous hospitality experience with the ability to perform any job in the hotel
  • 2 or more years of previous management or supervisory experience
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, strongly desired
