They are required to walk an assigned route, pick up animal waste with a pooper scooper, and properly dispose of waste at pet waste stations at intervals along their route. A pet waste technician typically works for a pet waste removal company or pooper scooper service.

A pest control technician inspects commercial and residential properties for pests and eliminates pests such as rodents, termites, and bed bugs when there is an infestation. They schedule appointments. Identify signs of unwanted visitors, deploy the best methods of pest removal and provide recommendations to prevent future pest problems. Pest control technicians typically work in an office and drive to client property locations for appointments.
