We’re expanding our business and looking for an experienced legal managing partner to ensure our firm’s success and develop the next generation of leaders in the legal industry. You’ll assist with running the firm’s business operations in addition to handling your caseload. You will advise the firm on ways to drive down costs and increase revenue to achieve our financial goals. We’ll rely on your expertise to hire great talent and uphold our reputation of excellence. Legal Managing Partner responsibilities
  • Oversee law office business operations, including establishing the law firm structure, communicating and enforcing team values, and contributing to strategic business decisions to achieve our overall company goals
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and develop senior attorneys, associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to strengthen our legal team
  • Ensure that the firm is achieving its short-term and long-term goals and client satisfaction by evaluating productivity and quality of service and making recommendations for improvement
  • Establish the financial strategy of the law firm by adequately distributing funds across the company, monitoring the monthly budget, anticipating requirements and trends, and evaluating the results
  • Build the firm’s credibility, business development, and public relations opportunities by planning, organizing, and speaking at events such as webinars, media events, marketing initiatives, etc.
  • Represent and grow your caseload (particularly complex cases) to continue your practice as an attorney
Legal Managing Partner qualifications
  • Four-year bachelor's degree, along with a three-year law degree from an accredited law school
  • At least 5 years of experience as an attorney
  • Active member of the state bar and local bar associations
  • Decision-making, public speaking, and supervisory experience is required
  • Advanced proficiency in computer skills, reviewing reports, and budgets
  • Excellent relationship building, process improvement, communication, and leadership skills are required
