We’re looking for a professional, friendly dealership receptionist to greet our customers with a smile. In this front desk receptionist role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact with all customers and provide superb customer service. Our ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills and some experience working in an admin role, preferably at a dealership. Responsibilities include increasing productivity by developing and implementing office protocols and assisting with clerical and administrative duties throughout the automotive dealership. You’ll schedule necessary appointments, make travel arrangements, purchase office supplies, and assist with marketing our brand on the web and on-site events. Dealership Receptionist responsibilities
  • Manage automotive dealership clerical duties, including filing paperwork creating protocols for team members that drive efficiency
  • Direct incoming calls and customer complaints to the appropriate person in a timely and professional manner
  • Embrace existing clerical duties and learn to take on new ones by participating in training opportunities
  • Produce automotive industry progress reports for presentation to the team regularly
  • Help oversee online and print marketing efforts by the auto group
  • Buy office supplies and other materials for the car dealership, as needed
  • Communicate with new car customers and increase auto group brand visibility by coordinating community events
Dealership Receptionist qualifications
  • An associate’s degree is preferred; High school diploma or GED is required
  • Customer service, administrative assistant, or administrative support experience within a dealership showroom or auto group setting is preferred
  • Enjoys interacting with others, whether fielding a customer complaint or articulating the details of a customer’s bill
  • Proficient in basic computer software and can quickly learn new programs
  • Displays strong time management skills and the ability to quickly and accurately complete detailed work
