We’re looking for a professional, friendly dealership receptionist to greet our customers with a smile. In this front desk receptionist role, you’ll serve as the first point of contact with all customers and provide superb customer service. Dealership Receptionist responsibilities
  • Manage automotive dealership clerical duties, including filing paperwork creating protocols for team members that drive efficiency
  • Direct incoming calls and customer complaints to the appropriate person in a timely and professional manner
  • Embrace existing clerical duties and learn to take on new ones by participating in training opportunities
  • Produce automotive industry progress reports for presentation to the team regularly
  • Help oversee online and print marketing efforts by the auto group
  • Buy office supplies and other materials for the car dealership, as needed
  • Communicate with new car customers and increase auto group brand visibility by coordinating community events
Dealership Receptionist qualifications
  • An associate’s degree is preferred; High school diploma or GED is required
  • Customer service, administrative assistant, or administrative support experience within a dealership showroom or auto group setting is preferred
  • Enjoys interacting with others, whether fielding a customer complaint or articulating the details of a customer’s bill
  • Proficient in basic computer software and can quickly learn new programs
  • Displays strong time management skills and the ability to quickly and accurately complete detailed work
