Insurance Policy Processor responsibilities
  • Work directly with the insurance agents, team members, and policyholders to modify, update, and process insurance policies
  • Review and verify personal information including names, addresses, ages, assets, and other data to ensure the accuracy of insurance company records
  • Calculate and issue policyholders’ premiums, refunds, and adjustments, as needed
  • Complete recordkeeping and data entry to maintain accurate client information
  • Correspond with existing and prospective clients via phone and email in accordance with the company policies; documenting all details to deliver the optimal level of customer service
Insurance Policy Processor qualifications
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • Experience using data entry, recordkeeping, or insurance policy computer systems or programs is beneficial
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, carriers, and processing considered a plus
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required; customer service representative experience is a plus
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other related account status computer systems needed
