We’re looking for an energetic person with great communication and customer service skills to be the next shift manager at our quick service restaurant. You’ll be in charge of running the shift, which means you’ll have to greet and serve customers, watch over the staff, and run the restaurant for that shift. This position will work alongside team members to make sure all food and drinks are delivered quickly. As a shift manager, you’ll be in charge of scheduling employees, giving them tasks, dealing with customer complaints, and making sure all food and drink safety rules are followed. Shift Manager (Quick Service) responsibilities
  • Schedule shifts, train and oversee restaurant employees to boost productivity levels and compliance
  • Delegate activities to employees and make sure they are executed efficiently and successfully to ensure quick service of all food and beverage
  • Train the crew on safety guidelines, customer service best practices, and cleaning requirements
  • Help customers with their concerns in a quick, efficient, and friendly manner
  • Order supplies and coordinate product deliveries to keep track of inventories and make sure every location is well stocked
  • Assume the responsibilities of employees who are unable to perform their shifts
Shift Manager (Quick Service) qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Must have previous experience in food service and the ability to perform various roles of restaurant crew, preferably in fast food or quick service
  • Must have prior experience managing a staff or in a relevant supervisory role
  • Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills and experience with MS Office strongly desired
