General Manager (Quick Service) responsibilities
  • Create a thorough business plan for the restaurant that takes the local competition, the market, sales revenue, and costs into account
  • Achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction while providing quick service for all restaurant customers
  • Assure all products and services are consistent with company quality standards
  • Recruit, interview, train, and motivate restaurant staff
  • Manage appropriate inventory levels of food and dining products and plan accurately for forecasted sales trends
  • Make sure that all laws and standards for food service sanitation are followed
General Manager (Quick Service) qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Must have previous experience in food service managing food inventory levels, operating costs, and budgets
  • Must have 1-3 years prior experience managing a staff or in a relevant supervisory role, preferably in quick service food industry
  • Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills and experience with MS Office strongly desired
