Many people who use Wizehire are not recruiters. They are owners and managers trying to hire great people while running a business, managing a team, and serving their customers.
That’s who we’ve been building for as we’ve expanded AI across the Wizehire experience: using technology to take more of the work out of hiring while helping employers make better, faster decisions.
In its Fall 2026 reports, G2 named Wizehire a Leader in AI Recruiting for Small Business, and ranked us first for setup speed, ease of use, and support.
A Leader badge decided by customers, not analysts
This is our first full round of badges in G2’s new AI recruiting category, which Wizehire joined earlier this year. Just a few months later, Wizehire earned Leader recognition for Small Business.
G2 rankings come from verified customer reviews. The owners and managers who use Wizehire rate their experience with our product, and their feedback helps determine our placement.
That’s particularly meaningful as we continue investing in AI designed specifically around the realities of small-business hiring.
AI innovations is only useful is people can actually use it
Alongside Leader, Wizehire took the top spot in AI recruiting for Most Implementable, Fastest Implementation, Best Estimated ROI, Best Usability, and Best Relationship.
These may not be the flashiest measures of AI innovation, but for a small business, they may be some of the most important.
Small businesses don’t need another complicated piece of technology to learn or another system to manage. They need technology that helps them get hiring work done.
That’s been central to how we’ve continued to evolve our AI capabilities, including considerable enhancements to Scout, our AI recruiting agent. Scout is becoming a more conversational way to navigate hiring, allowing employers to ask questions naturally, explore their candidate pool, and get guidance on what to do next.
Instead of requiring employers to navigate another set of tools or learn specific commands, we’re making it possible to simply ask what they need to know: Who should I look at next? Do I already have candidates with this experience? Which jobs need my attention?
The goal isn’t to add more AI to hiring for the sake of AI. It’s to make hiring feel simpler and more intuitive for the people doing it.
AI powered, human-first hiring
Making AI easier to use is only part of what we’re building toward. We also believe AI should give people more time for the parts of hiring that are fundamentally human.
AI can help employers surface strong candidates, make sense of information, identify opportunities, and reduce repetitive work. It can help a busy owner or manager understand where to focus their attention without spending hours sorting through applications and hiring data.
But people build relationships. They recognize potential. They learn what motivates a candidate and ultimately decide who belongs on their team.
That’s why our approach remains AI-powered and human-first: using increasingly capable technology to take more work off employers’ plates while keeping people at the center of hiring.
