Our growing company is seeking friendly and empathetic healthcare professionals with a passion for helping others in a direct-care role as a certified nursing assistant. Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities
  • Help patients with basic care including bathing, dressing, going to the restroom, eating, and taking proper medication dosages on a daily basis
  • Record patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level
  • Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care
  • Maintain clean and sanitary patient rooms by rotating sheets, changing bedpans, and performing general room upkeep
  • Exercise patients as needed to maintain physical health and mobility level
Certified Nursing Assistant qualifications
  • Job seekers must possess a high school diploma or equivalent such as GED
  • Must have completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a community college, vocational school, or medical facility
  • Should have strong physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables for wheelchairs and move medical equipment
  • Previous experience handling bedridden patients with age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferred
  • Experience administering a catheter and enema is preferred, but not required
  • Be able to use computer database and software programs to accurately record patient history
  • Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families
