A warehouse manager or operations manager oversees the daily warehouse operations of a facility. They’re responsible for ensuring that inventory is received on time and is properly organized, that orders are free of damages, packaged, and processed for shipment on time, invoices are accurate, and the facility is properly cleaned and all health and safety regulations are followed. The warehouse manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, and directing warehouse workers, and scheduling shifts. This is typically a salaried position with fixed hours.
