Warehouse associates or warehouse workers are responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations including receiving and organizing inventory, retrieving, packaging, and processing stock to fill orders for shipments, creating and verifying invoices for customers, inspecting products for damage or defects, and performing basic facility maintenance while adhering to the company’s safety regulations. Warehouse associates usually work on a contract basis at an hourly rate on a flexible schedule.
