OBJECTIVE 

We are an award-winning real estate brokerage located in Silver Spring, MD known for transforming homes for greater value in the DC metro area. Part of our success involves staging homes for sale using furnishings from our 5,000 sq foot inventory of fine furniture, artwork, linens, decor, etc. We are looking for two professionals who can be critical part of our Design Team to help pack, load and drive our truck and assist our masterful Lead Designer in executing her vision in setting up rooms and destaging. This position would help out other areas of our operations as well. This is a full-time, (mostly) Monday - Friday, temp-to-hire position with training. 

$39,000 - $45,000 DOE Benefits include paid vacation leave, paid sick leave, regular company-wide happy hours and other festive gatherings, a fun team environment, and competitive health insurance plans.

• With direction from our Lead Designer, packing up furnishings, driving our truck to homes, unloading and arranging furnishings and other items per directions (for example, arranging pillows, making beds, placing decor) to turn homes into showplaces
• Destaging homes
• Organizing our warehouse
• Repairing and refreshing furniture
• Setting up at seasonal concerts and other events
• General office maintenance tasks
• Running errands
• Assisting with mailings and other in-house operations

• Professional moving experience
• Ability to follow directions 
• Professional attitude
• Natural capacity to treat our clients and staff with the utmost respect at all times
• Knowledge of best practices with loading/moving/storing 
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to pack and handle fragile objects
• Ability to execute our Lead Designer’s plan, remembering where things go and which items need to be packed up at the end
• Ability to make the “perfect” bed, pillow placement, etc. after training
• Clean driving record and ability to drive a one-ton box truck (some training provided)
• Genuine, team-player approach
• Positive, cheerful attitude
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment 
• Ability to assist with occasional weekend or evening events
• Ability to show up ready to work hard each day as our team and clients are counting on you!
