Responsible for all banquet activities and functions (including set up, execution, and breakdown). Responsible for expediting all aspects of service while meeting the financial goals of the Food and Beverage Department. Ensuring the highest quality of service for members and guests. Leads, trains, and supervises all banquet staff. Has a thorough understanding of banqueting and service and general food & beverage. Manage all costs in relation to the banqueting operation. Expected to be an active participant in member dining, member events, and the overall food and beverage business.

• Supervision of the banquet team for banquet-related business including weddings, showers, meetings, and other business and/or social events.
• Coordination with the sales manager to ensure knowledge of BEOs.
• Reports any issues in relation to events to the Sales Manager, Member Services Direct, F&B manager(s), and the Vice President.
• Assist F&B manager(s) with the creation and implementation of training standards.
• Meet with F&B manager(s) daily to determine priorities for the day.
• Attend communication meetings regularly.
• Inspecting of banqueting rooms daily for cleanliness and proper set up of rooms.
• Assign work duties to the banqueting team (including side work) for their upcoming shifts.
• Will be expected to manage member dining as volume of business demand (whether banquet is slow or member dining is busy).

• The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ensures a high standard of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety is maintained throughout the banquet work areas.
