The Video Content Creator position will be responsible for concepting, shooting, and editing video assets. They will work closely with the Content Studio Manager and internal creative teams to develop elevated social media content to help grow and engage audiences across multiple channels.

MUST BE LOCAL TO RYE BROOK, NY, AND WILLING TO TRAVEL IN WESTCHESTER, FAIRFIELD, PUTNAM, AND DUTCHESS COUNTIES

• Shoot video in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments
• Establish needs for video shoots and identify/problem-solve potential issues
• Identify and communicate areas of opportunity for the brand across social media platforms
• Attend shoots and provide direction onsite
• Download and name video files. Maintain an organized library of video file assets 
• Edit new and existing footage into compelling content for social media
• Apply basic 2D motion graphics including, titles, text, and designs to video footage
• Resize and re-export video files for different social media channels

• Associate’s degree in videography, multimedia, video editing, or related field; or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years experience in video content creation
• Has a strong understanding of social media best practices
• Expertise with video editing software, with a strong preference for Adobe Premiere
• Working knowledge of motion graphics 
• Has the ability to process and incorporate internal and client feedback
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues 
• Practical understanding of composition, color theory and typography
• Excellent sense of pacing (Can tell a compelling story in short-form format)
• Experience with camera equipment
• Experience with HD and RAW digital editing workflows and digital formats
• Working knowledge of audio mixing and music editing
• Comfortable with video codecs and multiple file formats 
• Ability to provide accurate time estimates and adhere to project deadlines
