Region Vein ( is expanding our clinical staff and has an immediate need for a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). RVs and RPhS are also considered!

Region Vein is a community-based office uniquely suited to address a wide variety of lower extremity venous, lymphatic, and thrombotic presentations. Our team uses cutting-edge diagnostic technology and a welcoming workplace for staff and our patients.

This is a unique opportunity that emphasizes evidence-based, outcome-focused medicine in a collegial, patient-centered, and ergonomically friendly environment. 

This is an office-based position. There are minimal after-hours/call responsibilities.

The position is currently looking for a part-time role but is open to considering a full-time role for this position.

The compensation range is based on experience and is negotiable.


  • Perform patient evaluation and assessment of vein disease prior to ultrasound examination.
  • Perform detailed ultrasound examination of patients’ superficial and deep veins to create a venous flow map for purposes of recommending a safe and effective treatment plan (based on accepted imaging protocol).
  • Assist the physician in explaining the treatment plan to the patient and how that treatment plan addresses the patient’s specific needs.
  • Assist the physician during image guided injection treatment sessions with the appropriate directions regarding needle placement.
  • Assist the physician during procedures with appropriate imaging regarding catheter placement and withdrawal.
  • Responsible for pre-treatment set up and subsequent cleaning of the treatment room.
  • Perform any additional ultrasound exams as indicated by the treatment plan at the direction of the physician to ensure the efficacy of treatment and safety of the patients.


  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or registry eligible (must be sitting for exam within 3 months of hire) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS). Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RPhS) is also accepted.
  • Certificate of Completion from an accredited (CAAHEP) ultrasound program preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
