Paralegals have the opportunity to secure each client’s legacy by:

  • Gathering, organizing, and researching a client’s estate information in detail
  • Drafting and researching sophisticated, high-quality, and detailed documents that carry out the client’s goals and objectives
  • Navigating external research sources
  • Interpreting internal notes and reflecting clients’ wishes within internal documents such as asset lists
  • Deciphering important information from extensive documents
  • Collaborating and problem solving with team members

Incumbents must possess integrity, perseverance, and attention to detail. A successful Trust Administration and Probate Paralegal is curious, humble, versatile, accountable, and proactive. As this position will require exactness, it is critical that applicants possess integrity, high standards of excellence, and keen observation.

$45,000-$60,000 pay is DOE.

Paid time off and paid holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Review prior estate planning documents
  • Think critically to ensure all goals and objectives of the client’s plan and the attorney’s recommendations are met
  • Provide exceptional service meetings with clients, trustees, and family members
  • Draft exceptional documents for attorney review
  • Prepare deeds, asset spreadsheets, and probate pleadings
  • Assist in the preparation of federal estate tax and gift tax returns
  • Notarize documents
  • Organize and maintain client files
  • Provide excellent client communication in person, and by phone, email, and fax
  • Coordinates with individual client advisors and other professionals
  • Contribute to process and document improvement

Qualifications

  • 3 years of paralegal experience required
  • Knowledge of probate process and rules
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills
  • Proactive and dependable
  • Curious problem solver with mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Love research and digging for information
  • Collaborative team player who owns their contributions to the team
  • Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic and capable of offering elevated customer service
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, and Outlook

Compensation
$45,000 - $60,000 yearly
