The successful candidate has at least 2-3 years of recent experience in the title insurance closing industry and fully processes a real estate closing from intake to post-closing in REO transactions. Familiar with the GSE guidelines and default services transactions. Excellent problem solving, communication, and client service skills are a must. Position can be located in Coral Springs, FL or West Palm Beach, FL.

• Research and verify the accuracy of documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements needed to produce a clear title
• Ensure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and coordinate with loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to be sure all underwriting commitments have been satisfied
• Collaborate with title examiner and underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and binders and title commitments, and with loan closer to prepare HUD-1 real estate settlement statements

• Monitor scheduled closing dates and work with the closing team to ensure all deadlines are met
• Request funding approval and once obtained initiate disbursement of funds to all necessary parties to the transaction

• Superb research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills are desired

• 2-3 Years of experience with REO title processing and closing transactions
• Familiarity with GSE guidelines and default services transactions
• Notary required, RON preferred
• Technologically savvy, proficient in computer programs including MS Office
• High school diploma required, some college preferred
