We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Title Closer to join our team. The Closer is responsible for pre-closing, coordinating with agents and lenders, preparing settlement statements, conducting the closing, assuring title policies are issued, as well as preparing and recording documents. S/He is required to exercise extreme independent judgment and to possess the knowledge and experience necessary to efficiently handle any situation that may arise during the escrow/closing process. 

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
• Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Phone and gas reimbursement

• Review and clear title; identify underwriting concerns; prepare the settlement statements
• Work closely with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient closing process
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the closing process, including resolving any issues or concerns that may arise
• Ensure that all closing documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
• Ensures that their operation is in compliance with regulatory issues
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the closing process, including preparation of closing documents, scheduling of closings, and communication with all parties involved in the transaction
• Analyze title commitments and surveys to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the closing process
• Maintains knowledge and seeks out industry developments that affect the title insurance operations

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of title and escrow experience performing the title and escrow duties of this position
• Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities
• MN Closing Agent license
• Notary license required (MN)
• Ability to read and understand a title commitment
• Ability to read and understand ALTAs and closing statements
• Knowledge and use of Google Workspace
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and knowledge of RamQuest One is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as real estate, finance, or business administration
