bareWell is excited to be San Diego’s exclusive provider of Mental Health Services for the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame Behavioral Health! The Pro Football Hall of Fame Behavioral Health aims to provide comprehensive mental, behavioral, and substance abuse solutions to athletes, their families, and people all over the nation who are struggling with mental health issues. bareWell is committed to offering empathic, effective, and comprehensive mental health services to former and current athletes associated with the Hall of Fame Behavioral Health.

Currently, bareWell is offering remote-only positions with the goal of returning early next year to a hybrid model with an in-office / remote work option. We plan to still offer a hybrid model of working both in the office and from home. Our physical office is located in the downtown San Diego area.


Job Responsibilities

  • Willing to work a minimum of 15 hours (part-time) or 27 hours (full time) per week.
  • A flexible schedule is important
  • Hours will include some evenings and/or weekends
  • Perform clinical services to patients as scheduled
  • Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to client sessions.
  • Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics
  • Attendance at monthly team meetings and CEU trainings
  • Participate in lively Group Consultation Meetings
  • Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.)
  • Timely and accurate completion of written records for each patient
  • Ability to work proactively, independently, and with a high level of organization
  • Team player, willing to collaborate with bareWell team
  • Contribute to your own and others growth and development within bareWell
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail with strong time management ability
  • Patience — getting paneled with insurance is a timeline outside of our control


Required Education

  • Master's or Doctorate

Required License or Certification

  • Current State of California license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LPCC

Requirements for Application
This is a clinical therapist role; you must have some form of clinical therapist licensure. This is not a suitable role for life coaches.
