We're looking for a driven and motivated area sales manager to join our fast-paced team. You will bring exceptional sales skills to drive new business to multiple properties while also developing relationships with existing clients. You’ll need outstanding communication skills to prospect new customers through referrals and networking. Responsibilities

  • Define sales goals & quotas.
  • Develop pipeline management & forecasting methodology and processes.
  • Develop customized pipeline development processes to identify all sales opportunities and qualify them for future sales forecasts.
  • Tie new sales forecasting process into the CRM.
  • Define individual vital metrics closely tied to company objectives to ensure overall goals are met.
  • Develop a customized sales process to be more customer-facing and milestone-oriented.
  • Define each step in the sales process connected to critical deliverables that need to be accomplished before moving on to the next step.
  • Integrate new sales processes into the CRM.
  • Develop sales profiles for the new sales resources.
  • Travel with the sales team if applicable.
  • Oversee pipeline development.
  • Work with leadership and other departments to eliminate as much non-selling activity as possible.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls.
  • Responsible for product knowledge to answer customer questions.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Close sales and achieve sale goals.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
  • Perform compelling online demos to prospects.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirement and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
  • At least three years of related experience with solar/ green energy.
  • Proven sales experience,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.

Compensation
$80,000 - $150,000
