Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate the assigned territory and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the territory, leveraging various channels including cold calling, referrals, and networking.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored financial solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our financial services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure effective alignment of sales strategies and objectives.
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to a remote sales team, ensuring their success in meeting individual and team goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to communicate progress, achievements, and opportunities to the management team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Territory Sales Manager or similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a remote sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to achieving sales goals.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to track performance and manage sales pipelines.
- Availability for occasional travel within the assigned territory, as required.
Compensation
$142,000 - $162,000 yearly
