Michigan Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Ann Arbor Counseling Associates is currently looking to find motivated and eager therapists to join our expanding practice. Here is a little about the group and why therapists want to work here. The ideal candidate would be a team player, have excellent communication skills, effective and efficient time management skills, be able to work independently and have a foundational knowledge of clinical skills, treatment approaches, and planning.

Given the current need to perform services remotely, this therapist must be comfortable providing online counseling services, using technology, and familiarity with trauma treatment.

The base salary listed is for full-time positions. In addition to base salary there is a bonus structure for sessions that exceed 25 billable hours/week, which could add up to an additional $18,000 to base salary per year depending on experience.


  • FT positions require completion of 25 billable hours
  • The clinician will set schedules with patients
  • Set up online counseling sessions once the intake has been completed
  • Work collaboratively to develop a treatment plan and goals
  • Deliver interventions, monitor progress, and document accordingly
  • The clinician will meet with the clinical director for performance growth skills, collaborate with the administrative staff, and lead the clinical work with their particular patients.

  • Be available for an initial phone screen and a face-to-face virtual interview with the Leadership Team
  • Must have a Current Michigan License (must be verifiable through LARA-no in progress licenses)
