Technology Support Specialist (College Student)

We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Neighborhood Nerd. As a Nerd, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our members on a variety of consumer electronic services and products, including computers, mobile devices, audio/video equipment, security systems, and more. You will be the go-to person for our members when it comes to solving technical problems and helping them get more done and have more fun with technology.

• Provide technical support and assistance to members via phone, email, or in-person visits
• Install and configure hardware and software products for members
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems with computers, mobile devices, and other consumer electronics
• Provide recommendations for technology products and services to help members get more done and have more fun
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues
• Continuously improve your knowledge and skills in the technology field

• Experience helping family, friends, and the public use technology
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical users
• Passionate about helping others and delivering an exceptional customer experience
