We have a really great transactional business practice, and a growing number of our clients need help with tax issues.

This will be a strategic role where you can help clients plan their tax tactics, and reduce their tax bills (while staying out of trouble with the IRS). When the tax controversy work presents itself, we stand by ready to assist our clients. We also have a heavy volume of ERC work right now.

This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on entrepreneurs and small business owners, and make their lives better through quality work.

We plan on offering a lot of training, but we would really want someone with some tax law experience. If you’ve practiced tax law for any length of time, you know that clients’ facts rarely fall within IRS guidance. We need someone that can read between the lines and get the real story. We would also like to have someone who can work on entity formation, contract drafting, and general counsel for small businesses.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to understand the nuanced tax law needs of small businesses, as well as the practical reality that every dollar a business owner spends comes directly out of their pocket.

• Conduct legal research using computer databases
