CPA - Tax Analyst

We are hiring a knowledgeable CPA or Enrolled Agent to work with us!

As a Tax Analyst, you will perform work within a team setting that involves thinking outside the box, tax law researching, and preparing financial reports and progressive tax plans to help our high-income earning clients minimize their tax exposure.

  • Heavy tax law research to compile tax codes in determining the future tax liability
  • Construct preliminary tax bracket scenarios utilizing advanced Excel skills
  • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, tax returns, and other financial data
  • Report analysis and findings to the management team
  • Utilize various software for extensive data entry
  • Adjusts current and prior year tax returns
  • Calculate taxes, penalties, and interest
  • Compiling financial data
  • Bookkeeping
  • Communicate with clients via email
  • Prepare creative, strategic, and forward-moving tax plans (training provided)


  • Requires ability to communicate orally and in writing correctly and concisely, and/or use arithmetic with accuracy and reasonable speed
  • Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and appropriately applies proven solutions
  • Research relevant tax laws, rules, and regulations which may include individual and business tax law, tax forms, notices, bills, and other documents to manage sensitive case problems
  • Intermediate to advanced analytical, computer, and communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements (mortgage statements, tax bills, etc)
  • Requires an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office tools. Comfortable working in a team environment and resolving issues directly with business partners and leadership.
  • Ability to identify the nature and scope of problems or issues; make appropriate adjustments to accounts and advise clients of options available for meeting tax obligations
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Work with third parties on resolving issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent field is preferred
