How you'll contribute:
The System Administration Manager is responsible not only for the day-to-day management of Movement’s System Administration team, but also for planning, implementation, and support of several critical infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to environments that utilize Windows Server and Linux, hosted on Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Nutanix infrastructures.

Responsibilities

An effective System Administration Manager may contribute in a variety of manners, including but not limited to:

  • Managing general and specialized team members, to ensure the business objectives are met in a timely manner.
  • Hiring, supervising, and coaching team members.
  • Assisting Movement business units in standing up, maintaining, and working with server infrastructure as needed.
  • Working within a ServiceNow (or like application) ticketing environment to track and prioritize incidents.
  • Having a working knowledge of Active Directory, SCCM, Intune, Nutanix AHV, Jira, and OKTA.
  • Serving as an escalation point for high-priority requests and subject matter experts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Developing a knowledge database to assist the team with common inquiries.
  • Crafting and monitoring key performance indicators for team performance and client satisfaction to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Effective inter-team communications to work with various other IT departments to accomplish goals.
  • Effectively managing multiple high-priority items simultaneously.
  • Responding to high-priority incidents and emergency activities during and after business hours.
  • Evaluating new tools, technologies, and processes to continuously improve the program environment.
  • Commitment to a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of System Administration experience 
  • 2+ years of experience with personnel management/supervision
  • Superior project management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with team members, other departments, upper management, and partners
  • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multi-task, and work well under pressure
  • A natural tendency to be curious, positive, and creative
  • Cooperative ability to adapt and manage change in the workplace
  • Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to delving deep into the challenges they arise.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required

  • 3 + years of Mortgage Industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, computer systems, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Cybersecurity experience
  • Computer Networking experience
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence and ServiceNOW
