You won’t be micro-managed, but you will have support.

Compensation: $41,500 - $44,500 based upon experience plus signing bonus


So, what exactly would you do in a role like this?

Let’s break it down:

This role is accountable for making a difference in individuals’ lives with diverse abilities. Here’s how:

  • Service Delivery is approximately 15% of the position, handling a caseload of up to 30 participants (clients). This includes things like overseeing the development of the curriculum and content for the community participation support program, adjusting daily schedules of activities, analyzing and reviewing reports, ensuring proper medication administration, etc.
  • Leadership & Management is about 30% of the job, including things like helping the manager provide feedback and coaching, helping with scheduling and planning, and supervising the coordinator and a team of direct support professionals.
  • Regulatory Compliance is about 15% of the position, responsible for ensuring ISPs and assessments are implemented and in accordance with deadlines/regulations.
  • Fiscal Responsibilities account for about 10% of the job, helping with things like obtaining approvals, ensuring billings have proper supporting documentation, and monitoring budgets.
  • External Partnerships & Other Administration would take about 20% of your time. This role is relied upon for developing and sustaining productive working relationships with public and community agencies, and in turn, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of documentation and other administrative items.


What do you need to do this job?

  • Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university
  • 2 years prior experience working directly with individuals with disabilities
  • A valid PA driver’s license and 6 months prior driving experience are required

What else are we looking for?

  • The ability to easily build positive rapport with individuals with disabilities and their families or caregivers; good communication skills; a positive attitude, a high service orientation mindset
  • The ability to delegate, follow through and keep track of multiple moving parts
  • Empathy; organizational skills; collaborative teamwork, accountability, and flexibility
  • Prior knowledge of the needs of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Quality/Quality Management background preferred
  • CI Investigator Certification preferred

$41,500 - $44,500 + bonus DOE
