Raingardens Northwest, manages the inspection, activation, maintenance, and coordination of several stormwater products across Washington and Oregon.

We are currently seeking a full-time Stormwater Field Technician who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and sees every challenge as an opportunity.

If you're handy with a set of tools and willing to work hard after a fair amount of windshield time, this job is for you.

Your day will consist of leaving the shop before traffic and driving or riding to location - 1-3 hours depending on the project. Upon arrival you will need to take ownership of the project, be it a simple inspection, or an underground maintenance. You will be trained to deal with each system and process, so that you have a great understanding of the work we do. From there you'll need to bring the energy, as we like to work hard and get the job done, while still taking pride in the work we do,

You'll be working with a variety of tools to complete the job - depending on the system or task scheduled,

No experience is necessary, as long as you are willing to learn, and work hard in a team environment.

This is a morning position - with afternoons off, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime or overnight travel as needed.


  • Performing installation and maintenance for a variety of stormwater treatment options
  • Completing installation and maintenance documentation while on-site
  • Operation and maintenance of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment
  • Completing proper disposal for trash, debris, etc.
  • Completing plant pickups and ensuring quality for specified projects
  • Operating and caring for a variety of hand tools and power tools (pressure washer, vac trailer, shovels, brooms, etc.)
  • Assist with Production Manager and Operations Manager as requested
  • Safely accessing confined space for installation and maintenance, as well as providing proper documentation and photos
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs+ with or without assistance.
