We're hiring a data-driven bookkeeper for an integral position on our team. You’ll keep our general ledger up-to-date, ensure the accuracy of our financial information, and use QuickBooks for tracking. Candidates should be experienced problem-solvers, well-organized, detail-oriented, and time-efficient.

• Properly record financial transactions
• Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers
• Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements
• Make sure accounts receivable/payable are complete
• Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements

• Review and Preparation of monthly financial statements
• Reconciliations and data entry
• Tax preparation experience, 3 – 5 years experience preferred
• Lacerte Software knowledge a PLUS
• Accounting using both QuickBooks Desktop and Online is a MUST
• Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously ( book of accounting clients)

• Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar
• Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
• Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
• Worked previously with basic accounting systems, QuickBooks, and Excel

•  Solid knowledge of accounting concepts and fundamentals
• QuickBooks experience required
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to problem solve and possess analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS:

• Tax Preparation experience within a public accounting firm preferred
• Public Accounting Experience Preferred
• Enrolled Agent or CPA Candidate Preferred
• Accounting degree or 3 years of accounting or equivalent experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel required
