Workman Success Systems is seeking an experienced SQL Developer who enjoys working with business operations and technology aspects. The SQL Developer is responsible for providing software development and maintenance of business intelligence systems and processes. We are looking for a self-starter who wants to make a difference.

Preferably in Salt Lake City, UT, or San Diego, CA or be willing to travel.

• Developing, testing, and maintaining SQL databases and interfaces
• Writing and implementing SQL queries and scripts to support data management needs
• Working closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that the data is accurate and the interface design is user-friendly, intuitive, and optimized
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with SQL databases and interfaces
• Providing support to other members of the development team
• Helping build custom APIs and digest external APIs for data import and export
• Communicating to executives about possible solutions
• Using SQL Queries and logical analysis to analyze and document existing, undocumented data models and business rules

• MS-SQL, including writing and testing queries and stored procedures
• Database design, including schema design and data modeling
• Interface development support, including user experience (UX) design and user interface (UI) development (AngularJS, Javascript, HTML, CSS a plus)
• XML and JSON Experience
• Software development best practices, such as agile methodologies and version control
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Working well in a team environment and adapting to new technologies and tools as needed
• Business understanding, including a general understanding of Real Estate
• CRM Understanding and Experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to guide programmers as well as generate documentation and explain possible solutions to both developers and senior executives

During the live interview process, you will be expected to:

• Receive a data model and business requirements and write a stored procedure
• Utilize a cursor
• Include error checks and safeguards prior to committing transactions
• Write good syntax and generate neat, readable code
• Answer additional questions on specific approaches you might use for various scenarios
