We are looking for a software engineer that has the ability to identify problems, dig in and find solutions and manage the flow of projects from inception to completion. In this role, you would be tasked with creating new software solutions, including stable and intelligent integration of all systems and components. You would also be tasked with assessing software technology from 3rd party companies and identifying off-the-shelf technology that could shorten time-to-execution for components deemed critical to operational stability and flexibility.

• Identify critical integration points in various components to optimize performance and enhance functionality.
• Design and develop functional requirements that solve critical business issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities within Scrum/Agile Methodology
• Manage flow of projects and requests, including communication with stakeholders
• Understand system functionality by creating workflows and use-cases.
• Become a subject matter expert on assigned components.
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with end-users, team members, and external providers.
• Manage risk associated with handling sensitive data
• Maintain and update existing reporting

• 3+ years experience in design and development of software solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business or Financial Engineering preferred. (An advanced degree is a plus)
• Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, MS Excel
• Knowledge of Django and Phyton are a plus.
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Persistence to identify issues and the root cause.
• Superior listening skills required to have meaningful conversations with end users, internal and external team members.
• Proficiency in creating highly configurable user-managed solutions
• Proficiency in the development of company metric dashboards and alerts, troubleshooting and reporting
• Proven success building relationships and communicating with various organizational levels
• Knowledge of Data Visualization tools and techniques
• Experience with Process Documentation and Efficiency Improvement
• Experience with Agile environment
