About You
This position is all about interacting with our customers and consumers via social media to nurture our online presence and help us retain our image as a trusted resource to empower entrepreneurs. We need somebody to respond to customer comments and inquiries while also posting various promotions. You will work closely with our in-house content team, using their collateral to post on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. This individual will also collaborate with our customer support team to ensure our online community receives the information they need. Social media is a powerful marketing tool, so we want somebody who can communicate effectively and build rapport with members of the online community.

As such, you’re a self-starter, a learner, a problem solver, and a collaborator – someone who can think on their feet, who has a positive attitude and a customer service mindset, and is comfortable taking the initiative in an energetic, fast-paced environment. You can multi-task and juggle between different projects all while fostering a positive brand identity that attracts new customers and retains our existing ones.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with consumers on multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to answer questions and respond to comments
  • Post social media content regarding promotions, new products, or other company updates
  • Analyze frequent areas of concern and provide suggestions on potential improvements
  • Measure the performance of different channels, and continue to optimize our efforts
  • Act as a liaison between our online community and the customer support team, connecting our customers with the information they request
  • Respond to customer comments in a timely and professional manner making sure to positively represent the company
  • Stay up to date on various social media trends, industry news, or other pertinent topics that could drive conversation with our consumers

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of full-time experience in a marketing or social media oriented role
  • 4-year Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
  • Superb communication skills, especially written
  • Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and diverse groups of people
  • Mastery of social media networking, and a drive to represent our company values in every online interaction
  • Upbeat, energetic attitude with a passion for helping customers
  • Willingness to learn, take on new initiatives, and not require micro-managing

Compensation
$45,000 - $55,000 yearly
