We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Assistant to join our marketing team. The Social Media Assistant is responsible for brainstorming campaigns, creating social media posts and content calendars, and analyzing analytics. As a Social Media Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will work closely with the Marketing and Sales departments.


Responsibilities

Social Media Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Understand strategies to build followers, likes, and comments for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Optimizing company pages within each social media platform
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, and video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
  • Collaborate with agents to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Use eye-catching graphics in Canva to attract viewers and create conversation
  • Update posts to include relevant keywords for search engine optimization.


Qualifications

Social Media Assistant Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A degree in communication, marketing, or social media.

Compensation
$20 - $30 hourly
