We are looking for a talented Showing Assistant to handle a wide range of tasks and play a key role in servicing the team’s buyer clients. This Showing Assistant is essentially a Real Estate Agent in training. This is a ground-floor opportunity for an aspiring Realtor and a rare opportunity to have income stability while building a career in real estate sales. You will be expected to “own” this job and “take the reins.” Your responsibilities will play a meaningful role in clearing away distractions so that your team can focus on generating new business and closing sales. This is a diverse, hands-on role and you will be expected to be a dedicated colleague.

The Details:

Salary: $25/hour - first year with opportunity to advance to Buyer Specialist 

Hours: Part-time (28 hours per week minimum) or full-time (40 hours per week) opportunity available, weekends required and flexibility on evenings

Benefits: All business related expenses are covered, health insurance, flexible schedule and paid time off

Responsibilities

Areas of Focus:

• Schedule and assist with showings, schedule and attend inspections, meet with vendors at the properties, provide client care, and assist in overseeing the Contract-to-Close process

• Serve as the key contact person for clients as you assist them through every step of the transaction process

• Support the lead Agent with buyer activity that comes in, interface daily with buyers

• Schedule and attend open houses

• Build rapport with clients, ask clarifying questions and seek to understand your buyers’ needs

• Provide a concierge-level of customer service and serve as the gatekeeper as the first point of contact for clients

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate: 

Our ideal candidate has prior sales and service-oriented experience. You have a large bandwidth—heavy workloads and competing demands on your time don’t phase you. You are highly motivated, intelligent, and ambitious, and you have a passion for helping others. Real estate experience is preferred but not required. An active CA real estate license is required or you must be willing to obtain your license within 90 days of hire. 

Candidate MUST live within a 10-mile commute of the 91101 zip code and MUST have their own car (car must be presentable and in good condition), a valid driver’s license, and carry insurance.

You have exceptional organizational and project management skills. You are poised and professional and present yourself as such. You are able to juggle multiple clients, projects and shifting schedules efficiently. You anticipate needs and do whatever it takes to get the job done. You can work under limited supervision, taking the initiative when necessary. 

You have a fun and magnetic personality with the ability to work with different personality types and you enjoy building long-lasting, quality business relationships while interacting with high-level clients. You enjoy contributing to a team environment with the ability to collaborate in a proactive style to assist all team members. You will take on your job duties with a sense of ownership, confidentiality, commitment, honesty, loyalty, and integrity.
