The Showing Agent will be an individual who is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. They will have strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. They have a compelling desire to support the Buyer’s Agents in achieving team success, while being committed to growing their own skills and developing into a leader within the team.

After the Buyer’s Agent performs a needs analysis, that individual will pass the desired criteria to the Showing Agent. The Showing Agent will pick up the baton and find homes that meet the criteria, and he/she will work with buyer clients so they see those homes. As clients explore homes, the Showing Agent will work with clients to confirm or refine criteria and will show additional homes as needed. The Showing Agent will report all of the changes the buyer clients want to make back to the Buyer’s Agents so the Buyer Agent can update the criteria. The Showing Agent will report back after showings to make sure the buyer clients get the comps they want to see and write the offers they need to write to hit the team goals.

The Showing Agent will have a real estate license in order to meet MLS criteria for the duties in this role. Additionally, he/she may be eager to earn the right to use their license as a Buyer’s Agent. Showing Agents are forward-looking individuals who develop and maintain positive professional relationships. They have a track record of success and a desire to succeed in this role, as well as their next role.

Responsibilities

  • Take direction from the Buyer’s Agents as to what homes the buyers would like to see and set up those homes for showings 
  • Follow the “Team Process” by ensuring confirmations are sent and the showing calendar is used 
  • Drive buyer clients to homes or meet buyer clients at homes the buyer would like to see 
  • Work with buyer clients to refine their needs and wants based on seeing homes 
  • Identify homes that don’t fit buyer needs BEFORE the showings so as to not show homes that “won’t work” for the buyer client 
  • Communicate to the Buyer’s Agent any changes needed to buyers’ search criteria 
  • Find homes that meet buyer’s clients’ criteria and “Push” those homes to the buyer (as directed by the Buyer’s Agent)

Qualifications
  • High school graduate
  • Real estate license
  • Valid MN driver’s license, reliable car, proof of insurance
  • Track record success
Compensation
$18.00/hour for Showings + Commission on Sold Homes
