Packit Gourmet
The Shipping and Customer Service Representative is responsible for shipping and receiving shipments and performing a variety of customer service support responsibilities. Duties include preparing and shipping customer purchases, interfacing with customers via email, updating customer orders, and handling inbound shipments of materials and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Organizing, packing, and shipping customer orders accurately and in the timeframes required
- Politely interfacing with customers over the phone and via email
- Listening to customers’ feedback and working with management to resolve customer problems
- Consulting with other departments, the management team, and third-party delivery service personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments
- Efficiently preparing products for sale including labeling, bagging, sealing, and date stamping
- Checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices
- Managing inventory of products stored in the warehouse; ensuring inventory accuracy
- Maintaining and cleaning an assigned work area
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluency (reading and writing) in English is required
- Training or work experience in a related field of related products is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and Gmail
- Familiarity with ShipStation, Gorgias, and BigCommerce is a plus
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Organized with an ability to prioritize work duties
- Able to regularly perform light lifting and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Compensation
$19 - $20 hourly
