POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manager of Servicing FP&A Finance will provide end-to-end financial and business support to enable decision-making that helps drive our Servicing P&L performance and cashflow management. This subject matter expert will closely partner with the FP&A Director, CFO, secondary group as well as servicing leadership to provide servicing business and financial insights, risk and opportunities to help drive decision making through analytics. This role will also be responsible for owning the reporting, forecasting of the servicing P&L and capital planning.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):

• Partner with Director of Finance to develop a standardized month end servicing reporting package for Executive Leadership to summarize month end results and performance by investor versus approved budgets
• Lead the servicing finance process, which focuses on analyzing monthly performance of our MSR portfolio, risks and opportunities as well as cashflows.
• Provides Finance support to the corporate FP&A and leadership teams. Support includes: building annual business plan, adjust quarterly forecasts, analyze variances vs plan, pricing/margin reviews, and financial modeling of special projects
• Partner with FP&A Team to analyze SG&A variances to Business Plan and Prior year. Strong analytical skill required to manage through large data sets
• Identify and develop action plans against opportunities to improve operation’s efficiency. Action plans must include realistic savings goals
• Maintain accurate progress reports of ongoing initiatives and summarize results against goals on a monthly basis.
• Work directly with CFO and Finance Director to develop a forward-looking dynamic servicing Cash Flow model to manage advances and other daily cash requirement against a central company cashflow model
• Perform other mortgage FP&A duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5 + years of experience in mortgage servicing finance and/or capital markets positions
• Proven record of process improvements that drove tangible savings in prior roles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft office
• Hands-on Strategic professional with the ability to understand and interpret financial data – not merely present information to the senior management team
• Strong analytical skills with outstanding attention to detail
• Action-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience interpreting a strategic vision or initiative into an operational model
• Collaborative and flexible style with strong service mentality and ability
• Experience in leading cross-functional team initiatives/projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA, CPA, or other Accounting/Finance certifications
• Experience with Subservicing systems, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI will be helpful
• Fort Mill, SC Location is a plus
