Exhibit excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.

Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and orders.

Greet and attend to customers upon entrance.

Present restaurant menus and help customers select food and beverages.

Take and serve orders.

Answer questions or make recommendations for complimentary products.

Work together with other FOH and BOH staff in a team environment.

Issue bills and accept payments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations
  • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
  • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities
  • Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes
  • Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
Qualifications
  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
  • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
  • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
Compensation
$10 hourly base, plus tips and gratuities.
