We are looking for a UX Product Designer who has in-depth experience in cross-functional collaboration skills to work seamlessly across different teams as well as a deep understanding of user experience and accessibility by providing unique skill sets in the following areas; Product Design, Product Strategy, User Experience (UX), Customer Experience Design (CXD, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Wireframing / Prototyping, Responsive Web Design, Figma / Miro, Visual + Design QA, and Process Documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Own and build: create the end-to-end design for high-impact recruitment, job seeker, and hiring coach experiences on both desktop, mobile web, and native apps, turning concepts into high-fidelity designs and design systems (we use Figma and Miro)
  • Be a speakerphone for the people we serve: discover employer and candidate needs via the qualitative and quantitative lenses. Shape and share insights to inspire and help align the organization
  • Inspire and align: build key partnerships, and communicate cross-functional design strategies and visions
  • Drive insight to action: drive insight into elegant solutions that meet and sometimes define business goals. Form strong customer-centric opinions, loosely held
  • Connect the dots across disparate product areas: stay curious in each employer, candidate, and hiring coach work-stream in order to uncover patterns and opportunities
  • Build a design culture: engage in and inspire honest and clear communication, promoting a culture of care, empathy, and respect within and across teams

Qualifications

  • 5 - 8+ years of product design experience (startup experience is a must)
  • Bachelor's in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, or related Design field or equivalent related professional experience is applicable
  • An expert maker — you have a portfolio demonstrating the shipment of multiple products successfully; strong expertise in applying interaction design patterns to solve complex workflows, as well as in visual design, information hierarchy, layout, composition, and typography
  • A leader — you’ll do anything to achieve your goal. You build alignment and articulate vision through strong storytelling and communication skills. You know how to think on the fly and persist through setbacks and roadblocks and motivate your teammates to do the same
  • You have a 0 to 1 mindset — you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, partnering closely with product and engineering teammates to make decisions quickly, learn from them, and iterate. You aren’t afraid to put something out there to get rapid feedback.
  • This position is an individual contributor reporting to the VP of Product.

Nice to haves

  • Front-end (HTML, CSS, JS, React, TailwindCSS, MUI) experience
  • Experience with Linear, Kanban, Slab
  • iOS and Android standards

Compensation
$125,000 - $135,000 yearly
