We’re seeking a skilled real estate finance attorney to join our team. Our ideal applicant will have at least 5 years of litigation experience and strong knowledge of land use, title insurance, and business law. You must have a current license and exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills. This position involves the management of other litigation associates.   • Negotiate real estate transaction terms and conditions, and facilitate the transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title company
  • Draw up and review purchase and property management agreements, contracts, title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, probate and trust documents, leases, and financing statements, as appropriate
  • Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff
  • Represent client at real estate closings, in real estate disputes, and real estate litigation
  • Complete thorough due diligence and inspect legal documents, title examination, and closing binder for legal risk, completion, and accuracy
  • Must be computer proficient
  • Maintain a current law license in the state and be a member of the local bar association
  • Relevant knowledge of property management, land use, title insurance, business law, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
  • Exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills are desired
  • Completion of accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree is required
  • 3 years of experience as a residential or commercial real estate attorney, as a transactional attorney, or as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm
$90,000 - $120,000 yearly
