Senior Property Manager for Single-Family Residential Homes

The Ron Sawyer Team @ RE/MAX Prime is seeking a highly experienced Senior Property Manager to join our team in managing a portfolio of single-family residential homes located in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our properties, ensuring that they are operating smoothly, and providing a high level of service to our tenants.

Our Property Manager runs a portfolio of single-family & multi-family (6-10 unit) rental homes throughout the Hampton Roads Area. They are in charge of all phases of property management in their portfolio, including leasing, turns, resident relations, repairs and maintenance, and owner communications. RE/MAX Prime's unique approach to 'team property management provides the Property Manager with a wealth of centralized resources to help them execute all phases of management for their portfolio.

• Manage a portfolio of single-family residential homes in Virginia.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the properties, including maintenance, leasing, rent collection, and tenant relations.
• Manage a team of leasing agents, maintenance staff, and administrative staff.
• Develop and implement property management plans to achieve operational and financial goals.
• Ensure that all properties are well-maintained and comply with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with tenants, responding to their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure that all lease agreements and other legal documents are accurate and up-to-date.
• Work with leadership to develop, improve and implement systems and processes to help build efficiency in day-to-day functions.

• Must have a valid Virginia Real Estate License at time of hire.
• At least 5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on single-family residential homes.
• A strong understanding of Virginia landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation.
