The Corporate Paralegal will provide support to the legal and compliance department by providing administrative support to our in-house general counsel. This includes providing data management, performing research activities, generating reports, drafting documents for counsel to review, ensuring execution of documents and providing general follow up by coordinating meetings, appointments and schedules.

  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as contracts and corporate compliance documents for review and approval by general counsel.
  • Ensures proper indexing and filing of original agreements and other corporate documents.
  • Maintain various tracking and information databases and spreadsheets.
  • Interface with internal and external parties regarding review and execution of legal documents.
  • Track status of all legal documents.
  • Ensure smooth communication between legal department and executives.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure projects reach completion.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or 4+ years paralegal of experience is preferred. 
  • Previous compliance experience is required.
  • Cannabis regulation knowledge is preferred. 
  • The paralegal must have excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Paralegal Certificate is preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point) is required.  
  • Must possess frustration tolerance and have the ability to handle a fast paced work environment.
$70,000 annual salary
