We are looking for individuals who have excelled as a loan officer but are not set in their ways. Our company is looking for a Loan Officer who prioritizes relationships over bottom lines. This position is unique to the industry for a couple reasons and will take a visionary who sees the massive opportunity set before them.

If you are familiar with a show on HGTV called Flip or Flop Atlanta, then you have already been introduced to the real estate brokerage that we partner with daily. Red Barn Real Estate is owned by Ken and Anita Corsini and were the stars on Flip or Flop Atlanta. They started a real estate brokerage three years ago located in downtown Woodstock and now Black Oak mortgage sits inside their office as the preferred lender.

This unique opportunity entails:

  • Ground floor entry
  • Work with several real estate agents daily
  • Main and only contact for Realtors at four Red Barn franchises
  • Advancement to run and operate their own Black Oak branch once proven and opening is available
Responsibilities
  • Communicate loan application status with interested parties
  • Network to source new business as needed and respond to all mortgage lending leads/requests
  • Current knowledge of Mortgage loan processes, systems and products
  • Manage loan pipeline monthly
  • Consistently networks to build rapport with contacts to help the business grow
  • Loan officer will be responsible for calling, prequal’ing, pitching and closing loans
  • Building relationships and working with realtors to turn leads into closed loans
  • Loan Officer will be traveling weekly to build relationships with four Red Barn franchises and the Realtors that work at these locations (Newnan, Alpharetta, Cartersville, Smryna)


Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
  • NMLS License required
  • Knowledge of Calyx Point a plus
