Northwest Family Law, P.S. is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney. The ideal candidate would have at least 10 years of family law experience. You must be able to handle a heavy caseload, work independently, and zealously represent our clients both in and out of court. To be considered, you should have solid trial experience and be willing to mentor our newer associates.

• Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration
• Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
• Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
• Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws
• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs

• Handle complex child custody disputes, including issues of domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health
• Provide empathy and compassion for our clients, while also empowering them to take control of their own life. We are guides, not hand-holders

• 5 years of required experience as a senior associate in the legal field
• Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
• Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations
• Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
• Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills
