• Review, revise, and approve all pleadings drafted by paralegal
• Draft mediation outline
• Prepare clients for mediation
• Draft temporary hearing outline
• Negotiate settlements
• Review discovery requests and responses
• Attend status conferences, mediation, motions, temporary hearings, final hearings, etc
• Conduct depositions
• Draft parenting plan
• Draft settlement agreement
• Draft child support worksheet(s)
• Draft marital balance sheets
• Draft trial notebook checklist
• Conduct legal research
• Conduct client phone conferences
• Review and approve trial notebook
• Prepare for and conduct trial
• Draft final pleadings

The ideal candidate for our Senior Family Law Associate position MUST:

• Have seven (7) or more years of family law experience
• Have exceptional legal writing skills
• Be a confident, detail-oriented, self-directed, and decisive leader
• Be compassionate, accountable, and coachable
• Be able to develop and execute a detailed case strategy designed to obtain a client ideal results
• Be able to work a highly contested divorce with children and marital assets from beginning to end (mediation or trial)
• Possess exceptional litigation skills
• Possess masterful negotiation skills
• Be able to conduct thorough legal research
• Be organized with laser focus
• Be able to follow systems and adhere to policies and procedures
