Hansra Law

Now picture this for a second… you’re working for a law firm that respects you, your time, your long-term career plans, and your personal life. You’ve got clear and reasonable targets that can ensure you’re not spending more than 40 hours a week on the job. You get home on time every day to enjoy a nice early evening family dinner with your spouse and children. And before I forget, you still get paid well!

If this sounds like a pipe dream then you… sir or madam… you may have just stumbled upon the greatest opportunity! Keep on reading and I’ll tell you more.

Why Work Here?

My name is Sukhi Hansra, a former employee in tech and currently, the owner of Hansra Law – a law firm that specializes in helping people discover how to create predictable, reliable, and profitable businesses!

A few years ago, I was exactly where I described in the first paragraph… grinding away at a Bay St firm, feeling that billable hours mattered more than client outcomes, and getting pushed to stay late and arrive early. This is all to say that I get what it’s like to work at a firm that treats lawyers like a disposable blue ink pen – run it dry, toss it out, rinse, and repeat!

One day I decided to leave the rough and tough life of being a glorified Bay St lawyer with the sole purpose of creating a better law firm – one that prioritizes better service to our clients, prioritizes long-term relationships with our team, and works for the greater good of all that we interact with.

It was a ground-up venture reimaging what a law firm should be, but today we’re one of the fastest-growing business law firms in Ontario. That’s not just because we’re excellent lawyers trusted by clients across the country, it’s also because we focus on creating the right team who lives by our shared values: Innovation; Continuous Improvement, Excellence in Service, Team Player, and High Standards! Our reputation speaks for itself, with happy clients and top-notch results. Our team-oriented environment is employee-focused, we maintain reasonable billable hours, offer mental health days, contribute to ongoing education, and focus on finding the right work-life balance for every individual in the Firm (even if it requires very unique work days/hours).

Our team regularly represents businesses, employers, and franchisors in a variety of matters—from being that strategic partner in high-level business transactions to drafting and negotiating a variety of business arrangements, and much more.

Hansra Law exists to protect, and advise, innovators and job creators, because we believe that when the business community thrives, so does our economy. And when the economy thrives, it benefits all of us. Come be a part of the team that’s changing the way business law gets done in Ontario!
