We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to help our Construction clients grow their businesses. This position is located in Florence Kentucky. You’ll be in charge of bookkeeping, financial analysis, producing financial reports, and recording accurate information in QuickBooks Online. - Make sure accounts payable/accounts receivable are processed efficiently
- Properly record financial transactions
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
- Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements
- Job costing and cash flow analysis
- Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
- 2+ years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a bookkeeper, cost accountant, management accountant, or similar position
- Worked previously with basic accounting systems, QuickBooks, and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
