SUMMARY: Elevate Dental Partners is searching for a seasoned Senior Accountant to oversee all accounting functions and perform necessary responsibilities in a mid-volume environment. The ideal candidate will focus on commitment to quality, as well as adhere to company’s service-based ethos for team members through the preparation of Elevate Dental Partners’ full cycle accounting process. We are looking for someone to join our fast-paced and dynamic environment immediately. As the company continues to scale, opportunities within the department will be available. Responsibilities will include functions, some which are not deemed to be high-level and challenging. The right person will possess a combination of technical accounting experience and business operating acumen.
GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform month-end close: bank reconciliations, AR import files from external system, sub ledger close out, fixed asset tracking, credit card reconciliation, payroll accruals, debt tracking, routine journal entries, and manage monthly audit workpaper files.
- Work with junior staff and their associated duties; AP workflow approvals, process weekly check runs, credit card/expense report transaction approvals, and close out of integrated systems
- Assist in preparing multiple location financials
- Establish and cultivate strong relations with vendors, banks, and other institutions
- Maintain files, documentation, and processes thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policies
- Assist with updates to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies for corporate and locations
- Assist with compliance and other related reporting requirements
- Assist with administrative duties and ad-hoc reports with Controller
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years (required) / 7+ (preferred) relevant experience or in this role | Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Big 4 or Large Regional Public Accounting experience highly preferred
- Multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications; Sage Intacct (preferred)
- Automated Billing & Invoice Workflow software; Bill.com (preferred)
- T&E Expense Reporting software; Expensify (preferred) | PCard (procurement or corporate credit cards) experience
- Payroll Provider; ADP (preferred)
- Must have Intermediate/Advance knowledge of MS Excel (vlookups/hlookups, pivot tables)
