Security, Fire, and Life Safety Director 

LEAD Security Group Inc is seeking a Security. Fire and Life Safety Director to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining safety environment and conducting fire and life-safety-related duties.

• Ensuring safety and protection of the building and people on the site, providing security presence in the lobby and completing hourly vertical security patrols
• Surveying and responding to the Fire Command Station to identify, take action, and prevent fire or other safety-related problems
• Accomplishing fire and life safety-related tasks like conducting fire drills, managing the fire log, and being available at the site
• Administering and enforcing compliance with all fire and life safety policies and regulations as mandated by FDNY
• Dealing with site emergencies as they arise and making sure prompt and correct contact is made with relevant authorities (FDNY, NYPD, EMS).
• Execute hotels Emergency Action Plans (s) as necessary when required; collaborate with the property management team and all emergency personnel
• Documenting and informing all cases through the appropriate channels as required by law

• At least one year of experience in security/fire and life safety
• Valid F-89/T-89 certification
• Valid NYS security guard license
• Ability to stand and patrol for long periods of time
• Proficiency with computers
• Ability to communicate effectively and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated capability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Reliable commutation or readiness to relocate
• Possession of a valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Availability to work 8-hour shifts during days, evenings, nights, and weekends
